Who I am and Why I Love Coaching
My Story

In 2020 and 2021, like so many in the world, I experienced a dark and difficult season of life. As the pandemic raged, I experienced what felt like loss after loss - the death of my father followed by two back-to-back miscarriages, and then a diagnosis of an autoimmune condition that was seriously impacting my quality of life. I knew I needed to make a change.

In addition to addressing my physical symptoms, I did some soul-searching. I sensed that I needed to be spending more time doing things that felt enlivening, invigorating, and were in greater alignment with who I am at my core. I knew my physical, emotional, and spiritual healing required me to live more deeply into my purpose; simply, to do more of what I love. And what I love is talking to people about what makes them come alive; their deepest hopes and desires; what they dream of for themselves and for the world. The support of others, including a life coach I worked with on this journey of discovery, has been essential in my own ongoing healing process. I believe that we need one another to thrive as individuals and communities. I sense a calling to embody the "wounded healer" whose healing is intertwined with the healing journeys of others.

While that dark season of life was painful and difficult, it also proved to be a kind of fertile ground for me, and seeds that were planted have grown and borne fruit. Over the past few years, I have obtained a post-baccalaureate certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching from the Maryland University of Integrative Health, transformed my relationship with my body, and given birth to a wonderful baby boy, my second child. I would love to walk alongside and in support of you as you work towards your own transformation, towards embodying your fullest and most enlivened self.
More about Coaching with me
As your coach, my job is to support you in uncovering the wisdom and resources you already have. I believe you are already whole and magnificent. I offer deep listening, nonjudgmental and empathetic presence, and thought-provoking questions as you share and discover more about what it means to be you at your best.

I love working with others who are interested in deep and transformational growth. While I work with anyone who is looking to live with a greater sense of joy and purpose, I have a particular interest in partnering with highly sensitive people and women with chronic health conditions or at any stage of the parenting journey - those dealing with fertility challenges, pregnancy, miscarriage, postpartum, parenting young children, and generally looking to balance personal wellbeing with the other demands of life.
